Having never owned a range cooker but always fancying the look and appeal of such items; imagine my delight when my sister said she was having one installed. Ok she did admit that she was cheating slightly as her stove was going to be powered by natural gas and not some other type of solid fuel. This didn`t dampen my enthusiasm because I have always loved the look of Range Cookers as they make wonderful additions to cooking areas in my opinion. I love the way that you can see the fuel burning under the stove and the fact that the oven on them is simply huge. My sister has stated that her new oven will have a visible log effect. It comes complete with a huge viewing window which should make meal times more interesting. There are clever devices within it such as a warming compartment and a large storage drawer. As she was telling me this I was a little envious as I could picture a number of Range Cookers in operation within kitchens throughout the land. At the moment our kitchen isn`t big enough for one of the Range Cookers but who knows what the future will bring? For anyone that has a kitchen large enough to accommodate the cookers in style, I`d certainly give them a glowing recommendation.
